I am writing this letter to thank you for a miracle. My father seems to be getting along very well. He has returned to his Assisted Living apartment at Copeland Oaks - about a week after he was last discharged from the hospital. He says he has not felt this good in several years. That is also my observation. Your diagnosis that his congestive heart failure was due to a dialysis "dry weight" being too high started the miracle. There has not been a problem since then. Another good result appears to be a great reduction in the total medication. When one takes over a dozen pills a day he and I wondered if unintended side reactions accumulate to a significant negative.

I am not just thanking you for a skillful display of diagnosis, but also your investment of human kindness. Holding his hand for over an hour when he thought me might be suffocating, is something I never heard of before from any doctor, especially a specialist.

Again, thank you for a miracle, and demonstrating the very best of medicine.
